Safety and Boundaries of the Practice
Attention OS is a practice of self-observation and returning attention. It is not treatment and should not become a source of pressure on a person.
The method and the app do not diagnose conditions, are not psychotherapy or medical care, and do not promise relief from mental health conditions or addictions.
The practice also does not require controlling every thought or reaction. If observation increases guilt, tension, or compulsive self-monitoring, that is an important signal to stop and treat yourself with care.
If experiences become unbearable, if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if your condition seriously interferes with everyday life, qualified professional or emergency help in your country is needed.
Freedom is not victory over emotions, but returning to the right to choose.
